Compare the board you need to make
Free foam and Celuka are different production routes within PVC foam board manufacturing. The useful starting point is the required board structure and surface, followed by the way the board will be processed and used. Neither name alone guarantees that a board will satisfy a particular application.
General process descriptions distinguish free-foam sheet, with a fine foam structure across the sheet, from integral foam or Celuka sheet, which has a more compact surface and a foamed core. Use a sample-based comparison

For example, a buyer planning printed display boards should include representative printing and handling requirements in the sample review. A furniture-board buyer should define the relevant processing and assembly checks. Test the required outcome rather than relying on a product label.
Keep formulation and equipment decisions together
Changing the forming route is not simply a matter of changing a name in the quotation. Ask the supplier to explain the proposed extrusion, tooling, forming and cooling arrangement for the target board. Also establish which raw materials and formulation support are included in the project discussion.
If you intend to run more than one board specification, provide the full product range and ask what changes between products. A supplier should identify the settings, tooling, handling or other changes involved; do not assume one configuration will cover every foam-board requirement.
Read capacity figures in context
Board width, thickness and density affect the relationship between material throughput and finished sheet output. Request the capacity associated with your intended board, together with the operating schedule and quality criteria used for the comparison.
